We're celebrating Easter this week and Terry is kicking off a new series today that's titled, "He Promises." The Message is focused on John 3:16. I hope you enjoy the podcast!

CYB, Persecution Will Come. Apr 13, 2025

We're continuing in the Beatitudes today found in Matthew 5. The Message is looking at verses 10-12, and we're still in the series, "Count Your Blessings."
 
This week we celebrate Palm Sunday - Jesus being praised by the people. And in less than one week's time, we remember Him being hung on a cross. As much as we feel like we may not be persecuted to the extent that we see in Scripture or other parts of the world, let's allow this week to be a reminder of what God's Word says to us, circumstances can change quickly. Persecution for our faith can be a reality for us in what feels like the blink of an eye.
 
So today we remember to Expect It, Endure It, and Embrace It. We allow the possibility of persecution to spur us on toward every aspect of our being to honor and glorify our God.
 
Don't forget, the story doens't end with persecution, it ends in Victory. And we'll celebrate that Victory next Sunday!
