Terry uses passages from Acts 4, Acts 5 and John 3 this week as he looks at the idea of Living Bold in order to do everything we can to help Grow God's Church. We know it's not up to us, but that doesn't mean we don't have a role to play.

Church, Prayer. Feb 9, 2025

CrossRoads Christian Church is located on the north side of Danville, IL. We gather for worship on Sundays at 9:00am. We have great environments for our students as well as great worship and Biblical teaching in our main service. We would love for you and your family to experience these in person. So if you live close by, plan to stop by for one of the upcoming services.

Church, The Start. Feb 2, 2025

We started the Podcast a little differently today. We want to continue communicating about Gather25, that we're doing alongside Connexion Church, Calvary Baptist and Second Church. It is going to be all of us gathering together at CrossRoads, but the Church all over the world is going to be worshipping at the same time, and we'll get to worship together thanks to the simulcast. We would love to have you join us for that event.After that announcement, we move right into the first message in our new series titled "Church." Terry Goodwin is bringing us the Message today.

Reset, The Promotion. Jan 26, 2025

It's Miles' last day officially serving as our Teaching Pastor at CrossRoads. We have a special guest speaker, Mike Kilgallin, bringing the Message and leading us through our final step in this transition from Miles to Terry as our next Teaching Pastor.
It was an emotional morning, but it was a great morning.

Reset, Who Am I? Jan 19, 2025

Miles Clark, our Teaching Pastor, and a member of the staff at Old Union & CrossRoads for the past 26 years, is bringing the Message for us today. This is Miles's last Message as a member of the staff, as he will be retiring from his current position at the end of the month.
As a church, we are so grateful for the years Miles and his wife, Jennifer, have served here. The list of things Miles has done for the congregation is far too long to mention. But for those of us that have been blessed with the opportunity to serve with them and hear Miles teach over the years, we know how much the Lord has worked through their lives and played such an important role to so many.
Today, Miles is looking at this idea, "Who Am I?," as he wraps up this season of his life and prepares for what God has in store for the future.He focuses on, "Our Purpose, Our Identity, and Our Assignment," as he looks transition right in the face.
We know transitions can be difficult. Transitions can be emotional. But transitions can also be life giving. And Miles, being the mature leader for us and the humble servant of Jesus has allowed this to certainly be life giving for us at CrossRoads. Miles, we thank you. Thank you for pointing us to Jesus.

Terry Goodwin, our newest addition to the CrossRoads Staff, and the incoming Teaching Pastor is looking at the life of Saul, specifically his conversion in Acts 9.

It's the last Episode of the CrossRoads Podcast in 2024 and we've had a great year. Thank you for all the episodes you've tuned in for over the last 12 months. Terry is going to take some time today to look back and celebrate things that have taken place, but what I love is that he looks forward with excitement for what 2025 has to bring.
