Welcome to another episode of the CrossRoads Podcast. Today Miles is preaching from the book of Deuteronomy, looking at the transition from Moses to Joshua in our series called NEXT. We are in our own transition at CrossRoads and we know this can be a time that's difficult for a local church, but we want to do this well. We want to answer questions you may have, be available to grab coffee or meet at the church. So don't be afraid to call or text us at 217.443.4323.
But for now, get your Bible's ready, get your heart ready, as Miles shares with us about the transition from Moses to Joshua in this Message from Deuteronomy 34:1-12.

It's Sunday, September 1st and we are entering our "Next" Sermon Series. Terry Goodwin is kicking it off with a Message from Matthew 28: 16-20 called, "Let's Go!"
At CrossRoads, we want to be a place that's known for walking beside you in your journey with the Lord. It's so difficult to do that well in an online community, which is why we want to invite you to worship with us in person on Sunday mornings at 9:00am. We have exciting worship, engaging teaching and interactive programming for our kids ranging from the Nursery through Jr High.
Sr High students have their gathering on Sunday nights from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Right now they're venturing out to serve the community. They would love for your high school student to join them.
Visit our website, call or text us if you have questions, and then come by to worship with us.

As we have come to this point in 1st & 2nd Samuel, we're into the life of David. And now we have the opportunity to look specifically at the story of David & Bathsheba for a couple weeks. Miles is going to be covering this for us in the Message today as well as next week.
The title for today's Message is, "When a King Forgets," and we're focusing on 2 Samuel 11:1-5.
After worship this week, we had an End of the Summer Block Party in our front parking lot. We had food trucks, inflatables, a giant rock wall, and more out there for our families. It was a great week and we're so thankful for the church family that experienced that event together.
If you're looking for a church family to connect with, we would love to have to worship with us on a Sunday morning at 9:00am. Our worship is exciting, our student programming is high energy and engaging. We would love for you and your family to be in the room with us for worship. At CrossRoads, No One Walks Alone.

We're hitting the story of David and Goliath today. The title of the Message is, "Facing Our Giants."We know the Giants in your life might not be mentioned specifically in the Message, but that's where you get to spend some time with God. We pray that you can self-reflect and focus on the premise behind this application of the Giants in our lives.
The reality is that our Series, "Seek," is what this is all about. In the things we do week in and week out, are you mindlessly going through the motions because that's what we do or are you on this journey with the Lord, where you daily Seek his will for you and for your family?
No matter what's important to you in your life, we know there's one name above every other name. We worship our God above our friends, our activities, our own wants and desires. We Seek Him.
