It's Sunday, Aug 18th and we are getting back in the swing of things as school has kicked off and we had our end of the summer block party last week. Today Miles is preaching and continuing with the second part of a sermon focusing on David & Bathsheba titled, "How Long?" from 2 Samuel 12.
We are getting close to the end of Seek and preparing for our "Next" Sermon Series that's going to start in a few weeks. If you listen to us on a regular basis on your not currently attending worship somewhere else, we would love for you to join us in person. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00am. Your kids will love our student programming. If you have high schoolers, they worship along side the adults in our main service, but we encourage them to get connected, start serving on Sunday mornings once a month. Jump into our KidZone or our Nursery. CrossRoads is a place your entire family will enjoy. Visit our website and then come on by.

As we have come to this point in 1st & 2nd Samuel, we're into the life of David. And now we have the opportunity to look specifically at the story of David & Bathsheba for a couple weeks. Miles is going to be covering this for us in the Message today as well as next week.
The title for today's Message is, "When a King Forgets," and we're focusing on 2 Samuel 11:1-5.
After worship this week, we had an End of the Summer Block Party in our front parking lot. We had food trucks, inflatables, a giant rock wall, and more out there for our families. It was a great week and we're so thankful for the church family that experienced that event together.
If you're looking for a church family to connect with, we would love to have to worship with us on a Sunday morning at 9:00am. Our worship is exciting, our student programming is high energy and engaging. We would love for you and your family to be in the room with us for worship. At CrossRoads, No One Walks Alone.

We're hitting the story of David and Goliath today. The title of the Message is, "Facing Our Giants."We know the Giants in your life might not be mentioned specifically in the Message, but that's where you get to spend some time with God. We pray that you can self-reflect and focus on the premise behind this application of the Giants in our lives.
The reality is that our Series, "Seek," is what this is all about. In the things we do week in and week out, are you mindlessly going through the motions because that's what we do or are you on this journey with the Lord, where you daily Seek his will for you and for your family?
No matter what's important to you in your life, we know there's one name above every other name. We worship our God above our friends, our activities, our own wants and desires. We Seek Him.

It's week 3 of Seek, and we're in 1 Samuel 8, and the Message is titled, "What Do You Want?"
"May we want what God wants." It sounds so easy. It sounds like a no brainer for all of us that have given our lives to Christ, and yet it's a struggle to remember that WE are not the most important thing in this life. What we want, we what think, it pales in comparison to our God.
I pray you seek His direction in your life and I pray you are at peace with discerning His voice, His guidance. It's not easy. We will make mistakes, but we keep doing our best.
Don't forget, at CrossRoads, No One Walks Alone. If you have something heavy on your heart, and you don't know what to do. You don't know where God's leading you, don't hesitate to call or ask us to get coffee. We would love the opportunity to walk beside you in your journey with our God.
